PRINT CLUB Intaglio

Join Intaglio PRINT CLUB at The Yard Print Studio!

Thursdays (term time) 10am - 2pm

£25 per session (including basic materials)

PRINT CLUB is a weekly guided group session. The sessions are for meeting others, learning from each others practice, and gaining support and advice from an experienced printmaking tutor to explore intaglio and monoprinting processes. These include: drypoint, collagraph, carborundum printing, chine colle and monoprint.

CONTENT:

● Each week includes an introduction or expanded knowledge into a process, or honing skills from previous weeks.

● Content is guided by the group with a plan made at the beginning of each half term.

● Participants can choose to follow the guided content or develop personal projects.

● The class will develop work that uses the etching press or table top space.

● Sessions or terms can also focus on relief printing (using the Albion press) or screenprinting. These will need to be negotiated and agreed by the whole group.

● Sessions will be facilitated from 10am - 2pm.

PRINT CLUB is best suited to those who have completed a course or 1-2-1 at The Yard Print Studio and those with some printmaking experience.

Tutors: Nichola Goff with occasional guest tutors Niki Kent and Melanie Clarke.

Participants are required to commit to paying for each half term as a block, with payment in full required before the start of the block of sessions.

Print club has a maximum of 4 people. People on the waiting list will be offered occasional one-off sessions at print club if someone cannot make it that week.
