BLOCK PRINTING ON FABRIC one-day workshop with Jess Rayson
WEDNESDAY 11th JUNE 2025
10.30am - 4.30pm
Join Textile Artist Jess Rayson at the Yard Print Studio for this one day workshop on how to carve your own lino block and handprint your design onto fabric.
In this workshop:
You will learn how to design and carve your own lino block to create a repeat pattern on fabric.
Jess will guide you through all the creative processes to produce your own unique printed designs.
A varied and fun day designing, carving and handprinting.
You will produce:
Your own lino block, ready to use on the day and in future projects at home.
At least one handprinted fabric panel to take home and perhaps sew into something useful.
A handprinted teatowel in your new design.
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any fabric you would particularly like to print on.
Jess Rayson is a textile printmaker based in rural Gloucestershire. Jess has been designing and handprinting her fabrics for several years and runs her own small business selling her unique homewares. She has a real passion for print, pattern and colour. She particularly enjoys helping others to discover their own love of printmaking.
