























COLLAGRAPH PRINT weekend masterclass with Nichola Goff 18th & 19th October

Learn all about COLLAGRAPH PRINTMAKING on this weekend long course.
Over the two days of the course, participants will learn how to create collagraph prints from a range of materials and techniques to produce rich and wonderful prints.
The course will include making instant collagraph plates from scoring card and tape as well as learning to create long-lasting more versatile collagraph plates using textured materials, glue and straw hat varnish.
Participants will learn how to create line, tone and atmosphere from the materials, learn how to use intaglio and relief inking processes to create a print, how to print collagraph plates using an etching press and learn to use Chine Collé and inking techniques to add colour to prints.
Each participant will take home a limited edition set of hand-made prints and a set of collagraph plates for creating future prints.
This is a great course for beginners and for those wanting to develop their skills or experiment with this unique process.
Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker using a variety of techniques in her work. Nichola runs the Yard Print Studio and has nearly 20 years printmaking experience and teaching practice. Check out her work here:
