MAKE YOUR OWN LINOCUT CHRISTMAS CARDS

10.30am - 2.30pm
Join print tutor Nichola Goff at The Yard Print Studio this festive season for a half day workshop learning to make linocut prints and produce your own set of hand printed cards or a unique set of lino prints that could become a wonderful gift.
In a small group setting you will go through the basics of the linocut process from design, carving and printing to produce relief prints that you will use to make a small edition of cards or prints.
You will learn:
How to transfer designs to a linocut block
How to prepare and carve lino using lino carving tools.
How to prepare relief printing inks and ink up a lino block.
How to relief print lino using the Albion Press.
You will produce:
This is a lovely way to treat yourself or gift someone some time to learn a new skill or practice a rusty one, and make beautiful gifts for friends and family or even yourself! No experience necessary.
All materials and home made mince pies with refreshments are included!
