Learn the art of screenprinting with photo stencils on this weekend long course.
In a small group setting with print tutor Nichola Goff, you will go through the process of screen printing from start to finish using hand-drawn images and photographs to produce multi-layered screenprints.
You will produce:
A limited edition set of hand-made 2-colour screenprints.
You will learn:
How to create positives for exposing photo stencil screens.
How to coat and expose screens.
How to mix inks and use the vacuum table to screenprint.
How to layer imagery to create multi-colour prints.
Using a pressure washer to clean screens and remove stencils.
Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker using a variety of techniques in her work. Nichola runs the Yard Print Studio and has 20 years printmaking experience and teaching practice. Check out her work here:
