SATURDAY 15TH & SUNDAY 16TH JUNE
10.30am - 4.30pm
Come and play with type! A fun and informal weekend learning how to use type creatively to produce prints using letterpress by print tutor Nichola Goff.
In this workshop you will learn all about the amazing process of letterpress. Learn how to design a graphic image, type set, ink up type using relief inks and print using the beautiful Albion press.
Produce a new body of work, explore an idea for a project using text, print a series of unique business cards. This weekend offers an opportunity to get immersed in the process and explore creative ideas with expert guidance in a friendly supportive environment.
This is a great course for beginners and for those wanting to develop their skills or experiment with this unique process.
Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker using a variety of techniques in her work. Nichola runs the Yard Print Studio and has nearly 20 years printmaking experience and teaching practice. Check out her work here:
