LINOCUT PRINT WITH EARTH PIGMENTS on Saturday 9th March 2024

Join Nichola Goff at The Yard Print Studio for this one-day workshop in linocut print with earth pigments.
Part of the FOD FRINGE ‘24 offer at The Yard Print Studio, this FREE TO ATTEND workshop is part of the series:
‘PATTERNS IN NATURE: Wellbeing & Print’
Create two colour original linocut prints from one lino block inspired by patterns in nature, using inks made from pigments that come from the earth.
In this workshop we will produce hand-made relief prints using the 19th century Albion press at the Yard Print Studio.
Participants will be encouraged to explore their local outdoor spaces and bring in natural materials to work with, going home with a small series of original prints.
The fringe events at the Yard Print Studio are relaxed, supportive printmaking sessions in a small group setting, exploring nature and wellbeing. They include refreshments and cake!
Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker based in the Forest of Dean. Nichola loves to collaborate, she works with printmaking, earth pigments, installation and slow ways of working to explore and facilitate dialogue around; human connection to place, ecology and social justice.

Booking is essential. Add to cart and follow instructions to book your place, you will not be charged for the booking.
Access info:
There is parking at the venue. It is on a bus route. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the studio.
There is a small step in though the main entrance and two steps into the kitchen area. The toilet is on the same floor as the kitchen and is not wheelchair accessible.
