Beginners Printmaking beginning Monday 12th January 2026
Join printmaking tutor Nichola Goff at The Yard Print Studio for a 10 week introduction to printmaking.
This beginners course is a great way to get familiar with the world of printmaking and the Print Studio, introducing participants to: Monoprinting, Drypoint, Collagraph, Screenprint, Letterpress & Linocut. An extended version of the popular six-week introduction to printmaking, this course covers the same areas of printmaking with more time to practice techniques, embed the learning and better understand the processes.
Suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills. In a small group setting this course covers:
Week 1 Monoprinting
Week 2/3 Collagraph & chine collé
Week 4/5 Drypoint
Week 6/7 Screenprinting with paper stencils
Week 8/9 Linocut printing
Week 10 Letterpress
Course runs:
Monday’s 10am - 1pm Beginning 12th January - 23rd March 2026
Dates: 12th Jan / 19th Jan / 26th Jan / 2nd Feb / 9th Feb / 23rd Feb / 2nd March / 9th March / 16th March / 23rd March
(NOTE: There is a break during February half term- 16th Feb)
Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker using a variety of techniques in her work. Nichola runs the Yard Print Studio and has nearly 20 years printmaking experience and teaching practice. Check out her work here:
